Boy I sure do love trying to watch a show, but in order to watch the show you have to watch about five ads. And God forbid you step away for 30 seconds to let your dog out because it immediately resets the app and you have to watch all those ads again and more to get to the exact spot you wanted to because it will not save where you are. It’s actually stupid and greedy.

Out of all the major streaming services, this mobile app is the worst. It is very glitchy with playback sometimes not working at all in the middle of watching and then when I exit and resume all watch progress has been reset. The downloading function does not work really at all. I’ve tried multiple times to download just 1 season of a show that only has one season at all and it cannot do that alone without it just straight up stopping and no notification about the error as well. Some episodes within the season also just simply fail to download and then there is no notification and it does not resume unless I open up the app to check on it and then it finally picks up downloading again on the next episode. The download speed is also unacceptably slow. I can quite literally download whole movies faster on other services AT THE SAME TIME as one episode on here THAN just downloading on amazon alone. That is absolutely bonkers.

This app is absolutely terrible. I’m still going to pay for it because of the content.
But the actual App and setup is the worst of any of the streamers. So many ads and they make you watch them twice if you accidentally back 10 seconds. Such a crock.

Phone overheating no mater what I do in the app

I have been a prime member since 2018 and I’ve been pretty happy with Amazon service and the Amazon prime. Seeing ads is not acceptable for me as a customer if the ads are not removed, I am going to unsubscribe from prime services

Like all large platforms, there’s a lot of mediocre things on here. The site is well engineered and casts well, but Amazon has decided to test the threshold of indifference with its viewers by suddenly including ads in a platform where part of the user agreement was that we pay not to have ads.
It’s like having a friend that suddenly starts asking to borrow money. It undermines trust in the platform and in the company.

Nothing but ads now… barely any free content

Also have been a prime member for some time and I was really enjoying prime video up until they put ads in every video. 1 minute ads that’s seem to happen every three minutes think it’s kind of wrong for them to put ads in their videos while also paying for my membership
Have been continuing using prime video and tonight is the last time I will be using it. I was watching a tv show and the ads seemed more frequent than what they would on regular tv but in prime’s defensive most only lasted a min. Until the one I just got of 3 minutes I’d rather just use other streaming sights. Most movies and what not on here you have to pay for anyways.

We pay for a service. To bring in ads years in is just a slap in the face. They have doubled the price over the years and now ads. They are one of the largest companies in the world. This is pathetic.
