The previous Sony remote control app “imaging edge” has the timer setting on the app, it makes it so much easier for solo self portrait user.
This app has to turn on the timer setting on the camera before using the remote control. So inconvenient!!

I have a A7IV and when I try to connect over WiFi, the app would almost always fail to connect. It probably only connects 2/10 times?
This app is created by Sony FOR Sony’s camera. This is just embarrassing.

Please stop pestering users for access to their photo libraries. Not looking to use your cloud.
And why isn't GPS tagging built into this thing?!

Will not allow camera file transfers with limited access. Just one of many issues. Often ends in a loop trying to get full access to your contacts and full library so it can share confidential data. No privacy.

Very quirky app. Why does it require full gallery access? I’m not comfortable with that but it won’t function without it. Constant errors. Constant disconnects. Imaging edge was fine, why was I bullied into this when I spend $3500 on a new camera?

I really do not understand… at first I was happy with it… but now it logged me out, asking me to sign in again to update my camera. Fine. I tried once, never received the email… I tried again, received the email 15 minutes later…. I tried AGAIN, told me it can’t connect to the server. I tried AGAIN and kept telling me that it can’t connect to the server.
I tried the website on my computer and signed in perfectly fine. What is wrong with this app?! No clue. I tried contacting Sony but they can’t help with the Creator’s App. So really, what do I do now? I can’t connect to this stupid app for 0 reasons…

Can’t delete selected pictures. Upsetting

Without doubt, the app doesn’t like the apps existing in 2024. Gave me a feel like the engineers from 1990 wrote this.

This app is difficult to log in and I don’t fully understand how to use it, I have a Sony zv 1f and it and it’s hard to work keeps repeating itself and not working
