No auto-deletion of OTP texts. No RCS support. Both things Google offers. No sorting by unread. Textra hasn't offered anything innovative in years. Look elsewhere.

(7/12/24 - Same problem persists since 2021) If this app actually didn't bother me during the times it is snoozed, I would have no complaints. That's the only functionality that should improve. I still get notifications on weekends when I shouldn't. Other than that, I enjoy using this app.

No temperature in the Android pulldown notification area? No widget that displays quick access to current temperature or allows changing temperature? No way to tap on the number and choose when I'm setting a timer? Instead I have to scroll through 30 times to get to 30 seconds? I mean, it's nice to be able to control the grill with Wi-Fi, but this app definitely needs some help. If it's reliable with temperature and timer, I'll bump it up a star. But time will tell based on the reviews I read

This is seriously the coolest app I've used in a long time.

I've been using Nova for years with very few issues. But like other users, recently, the app will freeze and stop working. Similarly, the navigation buttons will become unusable, or will disappear. Developer says this is an Android problem but when I switch back to Android's launcher, I have none of these issues. Dropping to two stars.

Don't bother if you're looking for a different experience than just using your browser.

New color scheme terrible. There are plenty of other ways to improve the app. Leave the color scheme alone

"Unable to login. Please try again in a few minutes." I get that error over and over in the App. Website is fine. Hope they patch this soon.

I have 9 echo dots. My audio settings reset randomly pretty regularly. it's awful

Every time I open the app, I am logged out. I have to log in every time. Not sure why this bug exists. I am on Android 13.

I'm very happy with the schedule options by day for each week, though it would be nice to be able to set more than two schedules. But why no timer function? I can do this on the remote, but why not the app? There are plenty of options to buy infrared thermostats that function just like any other smart thermostat these days. So between the cost of the Wi-Fi module, and the poor functionality, unless this app improves, it doesn't make any sense to deal with it

(Updated 4/26/23) I have noticed increased updates to the Android version of this app. The recent update to the interface is fantastic. This really is a wonderful app. (Updated 2/7/23) IT IS FIXED. Thank you to the developers and to the Dwell folks for listening to their customers. FIVE STARS! PREVIOUS REVIEW: Android version not getting bug updates. It has been months since the pulldown notifications take me to the app when I tap on them. If you are an Android user, be aware.

Really wish I could turn off the monthly report option. The only choice I have is to turn off all notifications, which I don't want to do.

Keyboard issue finally fixed! I've updated my review from 1 to 4 stars. Long-term, if the app remains stable, I'll be bumping it up to 5. This is a great app if they can keep the problems ironed out.

I'm looking for a gboard alternative, but the extra unremovable row for text predictions, and the lack of a delivered dedicated voice texting button is deal breaker.

Edit: Downgrading my review because of a recent and persistent bug that support is aware of that doesn't take you to the app in Android when you get notifications. I feared the iPhone would get more support than Android when I purchased my lifetime subscription. I hope I don't end up regretting it. Hopefully this bug will get the attention it deserves soon. I will increase my rating once the bug is resolved because this is a great app otherwise.

statuses don't update on their own. I have to scroll down the list and then scroll back up in order for statuses to update. so that means I can ever trust the statuses.

Edit: 9/22/22 update solved my issues. Hopefully developers can make sure downtime is shorter in the future. Adjusted review to 4 stars. If app is more consistent... I'll update to 5 stars. ***Previous review: (disclaimer-I work in technology... These problems are not user related) --> Upon launching app, I am taken to Gmail to send an email to the support team. The app doesn't load at all. I bought this air conditioning unit assuming I would have app functionality. This is beyond disappointing.

Making sort by distance a pro feature makes this app unusable now as a free app. I have been a paid annual subscription holder in the past, but downgraded to the free version because I don't use it as much these days. Now, if I need to look for a hike near me, my only option is to choose "closest" as my sort. I live in Central NJ and I'm seeing hikes second and third in the list that are in Central Park NYC. That's a joke. Essentially, they've forced everyone to pay the pro price. Not okay.

Reviews of garages are bogus. I had an issue with a garage up charging me without cause and wanted to post a negative review, and was blocked from doing so.

Tracking custom symptoms not an option. They need to fix that. Not everyone has the same standard symptoms to indicate a bad allergy day. If they fix that, this app is great.

So the temperature shown is almost always wrong. Developer unresponsive. No info on the stations data is pulled from. I'm trying to use this app to replace my other weather apps, but with these issues, I can't see pulling the trigger on the pro version, or even continuing to use the app.

My money is being held hostage. I hit submit to buy crypto, I got an error saying "your purchase didn't go through - please try again." I tried again, I got another error, I tried again, and after the third time I noticed I had new notifications. I checked my notifications and it said that all three of my purchases had gone through. I contact support......no response. They are now holding my money hostage. Stay away.... Stay very far away.
