This app is clever that it'll shorten an announcement with a long tracking/serial number within a message. However, most crucially, the announcement volume needs to be even louder in relation to other apps like music (despite the Settings to do so; needs 125%, 150% options) to be audible while driving. Also, with Do Not Disturb mode on my phone at night, this app doesn't automatically resume in the morning, so I'm having to cycle phone's volume Silent/On every morning for this app to resume.

***UPDATE (July '24): Suddenly started to work again, awesome! ***UPDATE (May '24): Pro/paid version stopped reading notifications aloud. ***Original: I've been happily using the free version for years, and finally decided to chip in the well-deserved $ to support. Opening the new/paid version auto-ran a migration process (nice touch), but I still had to re-select apps to be read out, and re-set all the read-out message sentences manually, before uninstalling the old/free version.

Disciple Skies Software

Please reduce the number of taps necessary to launch Floating Alt (per my original ask in Mar'23; now July'24!). The best would be to launch it by tapping on a widget (1 tap). The 2nd best would be to add a designated button on the app to launch it (2 taps). Currently too deep hidden under app's 3 dots (3 taps) while driving. I got this app only for its brilliant Floating Altimeter (Pro/$paid version), which is quite useful for when driving thru the mountains while running Maps/Waze.

Thanks for leaving your thoughts about the new floating altimeter feature in our app! - DS SOFTWARE

I like the simplicity without unnecessary bells/whistles, just what i was looking for. Nice to simultaneously show inches and centimeters. However, this app only shows in landscape mode and can't flip to portrait mode. Moreover, it also locks up the phone in landscape mode and I can't get back to portrait mode unless I close this app first, which is a pain. I found a similar simple ruler app that can automatically flip between portrait and landscape, so I'll go with that one instead.

Xalpha Lab

Designed and works well with its simplicity and ease, just what I was looking for. Also works well with auto-rotate of portrait/landscape view promptly. Would like it if the menu wasn't tap-to-show/hide at the top, but rather always shown in the blank middle realestate (instead of showing, "Tap to..." there).

While app/music is still all good, could you please consider bringing out/up the Equalizer settings more easily/quickly accessible in the app? It was kinda pain to get to before (somewhere in the middle under Settings), but now it's buried even deeper under another layer (at the bottom under Audio Quality under Settings). This is a pain because I change Equalizer often depending on music genre and Bluetooth devices.

A simple/easy sketch app to doodle/scribe on the go - just what I was looking for (sometimes I want simple, not complicated bells/whistles). Shake-to-erase option is nice and works well. Having a save function is also nice, except that "Export" button displays "Saved!" but doesn't save anything (Android 13). I can still save by Share and Save As (or just take a screenshot), so there a workaround if I want to save anything.

This is a simple/easy weather app with a clean/essential look - just what i was looking for as my additional quicker weather app. I love that there's finally an app with a quick 'F/'C change button right up in front (instead of having to dig thru in Settings like most weather apps). One minor wish list would be to be able to sort locations.

This app suddenly stopped working (didn't even load). Had to uninstall/reinstall to just get it working again. The older version worked fine, before being forced to move to this new version.

this monthly calendar view in a tile format is excellent for quick lookup, instead of an app that needs to be launched from app list. exactly what I was looking for!

Watch-side app review: This smartwatch app loads fast and is very convenient to pay at stores/restaurants without my wallet. *Wishlist: This smartwatch app really should auto-close upon a payment use (after a check mark is displayed on the watch screen). Currently I still have to manually close it each time, or - if I forget - it'll continue to display the card icon on watch screen & remain ready to pay another. There's no use case for such rapid-sequential payments.

This app is clean and simple in doing what it is intended to do, without additional extra junky features to clutter. The 2x1 widget also looks great, though it doesn't seem to update as frequently as every 328ft (100m) per Settings. *Wishlist: (a) display altimeter in both feet & meter together, or have a quick toggle switch right on main app page instead of under Settings; (b) a smaller altimeter view that can be overlaid (Picture-in-picture) while running Maps/Waze.

This app (on the watch or phone) doesn't automatically update info. Especially the watch side doesn't auto update, whether being connected to phone or set on its own GPS. Having to manually launch it to update each time is a pain.

Love the app (works!), its look/feel, all the customising options, functions, and love the multiple account organisation, easy setup, no ads.

Ads in mail app this day and age (unless paid version)? No thanks. Hello Blue Mail app.

With a very clean/clear user interface, this app is simple and effective for is intended design. (No unnecessary bells/whistles commonly seen on apps nowadays.) The ads are just a narrow banner at the top (not those obnoxious while-page covering type), so it didn't bother me, either. Highly recommend! One suggestion for this app is to prevent auto-lock while it's in use, as I keep having to unlock screen while using it for a task.

[App closed down as of 3/31/'21] Exactly what I was looking for: to be able to just turn off my 7ys-old son's tablet, either by timer or on-demand. Very easy to set up & use, with intuitive UI. And the team responds promptly to feedback. Great job!

Simple App Projects

Updated for v4.3.1: Glad to see the info-source issue experiences over the holidays '20 is now fixed (bye-bye "HERE"), and the watch-side app is working again as before, with a good set of info/features/functions. The same watch-side suggestion remains: to simply be able to side-swipe to toggle between Weather/Forecast/Hourly/Details (by eliminating an unnecessary extra step of having to pull down a menu list from above).

This is indeed a "brilliant" watch-side complication-only app. I like that this is simply a complication-only app (vs another full app on watch-side, nor having an accompanying app on phone-side) - one of a few such, if any. I also like the clean look, the simple-yet-effective info layout, and even the short weather-summary paragraph. (A minor ask: Could sunrise/sunset info be added, just to the right of wind info & below precipitation info?)

Microsoft Corporation

(A) The daily time allowance page should come up on the 1st page of the app, instead of buried behind 3 levels/clicks. (B) The daily time allowance should be editable, instead of delete-and-add only. (C) I'd also like to be able to set the time at any minutes, not limited to 30min dropdown increment (eg. I can't set at 2:40pm when kids school ends, as it has to be either 2:30pm or 3pm). Poorly designed and not fully baked before it was released. (Same poor functionality with browser version.)

Was great, then its floating bubble sped working (per Google), then this entirely stopped working (per Google). Nice that the developed posted the work-around "ADB code" to run, but I don't know how to "run" it anyway.

EDIT: no longer works with Android 10. ORIGINAL: Love the simplicity - just exactly what I was looking for. Having no ads is great, too. One minor thing; any chance changing the name of this app (or at least on the app icon) so that app icon doesn't read just "Stupid..."on my device homepage? (Edit: I now use Nova or Apex launcher, which can edit app icon names.)

Simple/clean UI (without extra/junky features), which is exactly what I wanted, in order to identify which of my kids' devices are connected when I turn on my hotspot. However, for an app identifying/displaying IP#s, there MUST be a rename function (or at least able to read/display the device names I've signed on device side), or it's practically useless (ie. I won't possible remember all their IP#s or "Unknown Device"). If that feature is added, it'd quickly be 5 star. No updates since 2019.
