I downloaded this app thinking I could give it a shot and I realized that I needed to subscribe to a trial to try it out I subscribed to the trial and was supposed to be billed August for the amount of $19.99 if I don’t cancel my subscription by then. I poked around for a few seconds in the app and just decided to cancel since I didn’t really see myself using the app frequently. Thinking that was the end of that on July 9th I get a payment withdrawn from my Apple Pay wallet for the $19.99 a month when I CLEARY cancelled. I submitted a refund request to Apple and was denied. I’ve just submitted a review which hopefully they will reverse but I don’t like how unethical this is. If a customer cancels WELL before the subscription window. I don’t appreciate how not upfront this app is regarding subscriptions. The app actually looked interesting but I was not expecting to be scammed like this. I cancelled my subscription waaaay before the renewal date and was still charged. I reached out to support and Chen responded saying that I should reach out to Apple. Poor customer service. If you’re considering downloading this stay far away.
