Would love to use this app, but every time I try to use it, an alert comes up to rescue my account. I also have a permanent front-facing camera for my pics. My friends are able to remove this but I am not. This is app is so broken, it’s unusable

The rescue account alert asks you to link your email address to you account. That’s because your account uses your phone number to login but login with phone number is disabled. Once you log out you can’t log in again.
Regarding the front facing camera. Go to settings -> advanced-> enable old checkin style.
