| Cheating?
I read many comments that this game cheats. While it does put your domino in a place you don’t want from time to time, if this game cheats, it’s a pretty lousy game. I reset my stats once I hit Master level (it was 97% up to,that point, yet even at Master and beyond, my win % is still above 80. It’s just not that competitive of a game | 06/30/2024

Updates to the dashboard are horrible - you have to make extra clicks or taps into additional menus to get to where you can view video clips. Totally bummed this recently changed. Very awkward new menus | 06/23/2024
| Boring and unchallenging
This game is not a challenge. As soon as you pick up on its biases, you can fly through all levels. For those of you that are starting out, do not choose this game. It will make you develop bad playing habits if you don’t understand and pick up on those biases. Other than the “cute” emojis there’s no substance to the game. | 05/18/2024
| Fun for a while.
Once I reached a certain dollar level (over 2 trillion), the expected payouts changed DRAMATICALLY and to a statistically significant level. Their algorithm for making money and keeping folks interested is extremely flawed and doesn’t correlate well. It allows folks to jump out to early credit build-ups then changes those expected payouts assuming folks will continue to pay to play. The rewards, however, aren’t enough to keep most interested. | 04/14/2024
| Same game
Games ok but it’s rote. I win roughly 75% of all games even at the highest levels. But the routine is when I win my average win is by 8.1 points. When any other bot wins the average win is by 24.4 points. I almost feel that it “plays” exciting when I win but when I lose it just hammers me fast. to get a loss under my belt. Regardless it’s not a good way to sharpen your skills and can develop bad habits | 11/03/2023
| Game has a bias
So I’m a very good gin player. Playing for 40 years+. Got to a point in the game where it started taking a point away for a loss and the typical, 4 for a win. The game seem to develop a bias at this point. Almost like it knew my hand. I’m also a statistician. I played 200 games where I purposely made 3 bad moves per hand (of course some hands finished before I could make the 3 bad moves). My win % was 53%. Then I played 200 games where I played normal. My win % was 54%. For a data set of 200 trials each, statistically, one can make the statement “I am 99% confident there is no difference in the results”. This is a perplexing result when one purposefully makes 3 bad moves per game against a very good player. I’ll let the reader assign the conclusion. | 08/26/2023

I have been a ring customer for 5+ years and have several lights and cameras around my house. Ring keeps messing with the app and now there are several issues and no where to leave feedback. Now the dashboard scroll’s on its own to an advertisement and you can’t check your alerts. I’m about to junk all the cameras and the app. | 07/21/2023
| Biased
Game is statistically biased in its distribution of cards to a 95% confidence level. N = 500 trials | 06/28/2023
| Very bad

| Statistically biased
At the risk of sounding like a nerd, here goes! I’m a statistician by trade and have have a masters degree in mathematical statistics and probability. I sensed a bias in this game, so I decided to statistically test it. I played 200 games analyzing the nil bid at the platinum level and above. East west bid nil 95 times. My partner bid nil only 30 times. Less than half. I would expect roughly 35 to 45 times for my partner. Of the nil bids, east west was successful 81% of the time, my partner was successful 72% of the time. My only task was to protect my partner’s nil bid. Thus to a statistical significance of greater than 95%, there is a bias towards east west and against north south regarding the nil bid. So don’t feel bad, the game is biased against you regarding nil bids. On the positive side, overall I still beat east west 75% of the time! | 08/21/2022
| Not competitive
I apologize in advance if my critique seems harsh. But the game play from the bots is really atrocious. They literally just give both bags and the game away. And this is on BOTH sides. That is, your partner and your opponents are fairly worthless players. And this is at the grand master level. | 04/28/2022
| Not competitive
Once you get to the ultimate level, the game uses your partner to make it “competitive”. You have to compensate for the ineptitude of your partner as it purposefully makes bad plays to keep it “competitive”. Nonetheless, you can overcome if you begin to anticipate your partners bumbling moves. I can maintain a 90% win percentage at the ultimate level simply by anticipating the poor moves! | 02/26/2022

| The Nil Bid Game
Once you advance to a certain level, the bots bid nil 60-70 percent of the time and are successful 80-90 percent of the time. The only way it can beat me is with this nil bidding scheme. Every time it has a relative normal number of nil bids I can beat this thing nearly 100 percent of the time. It uses nil bidding to compensate for its lack of competitive game play | 12/26/2021
| Lame
This app was changed and now there is no way to search for homes using the map. It constantly says “no homes for sale”. When I go to a competitors app, tons of homes for sale. The recent updates broke the app. LAME. | 07/25/2021

| Bad computer bots
What’s interesting about this game is that for as bad as these players truly are, somehow they are able to make a game of it. The distribution of cards is highly suspect and the players will sacrifice themselves from time to time. If you look at this game as 3 against 1, you will like it. But as a traditional hearts game, it leaves much to be desired | 01/15/2019

Good game | 11/22/2018 | |
| Entertaining but...
Subtlety poor players if you pay attention to their strategy. Thé players aren’t that good even on hard level. Takes about 5 games or so but once you understand their strategy and habits you can win 80 to 90 percent of the games | 06/03/2018

Why does this app make you keep signing in? Lame. | 08/16/2017
| App is disorganized and annoying
KCRA 3 is the station I go to for news - but the new app is disorganized, tough to find headline news sometimes, and to be honest...annoying. It needs a redo! | 12/29/2015
| Tired of the ads
I'm so tired of the ads/commercials! I'm willing to pay for the app - drop the garbage! Grrrrrrr | 12/22/2015
| It's just ok
I find this new app a little sterile and not very intuitive. It's tough to see news stories vs ads and commercials. I find switching between local/California/national news not very intuitive. I don't know where to change the zip code for current temps, etc.... I'm hoping they will go on to improve the app and not consider it "done". I've basically stopped looking at this app for now. | 10/18/2014
| Cheating? NOT
This is a great teaching game and those that lament their luck are really missing out on something special. Backgammon is a game of streaks and everyone (EVERYONE) encounters bad runs of luck more often than would seem reasonable. When you combine the inevitable bad streaks of luck with bad or mediocre play against an expert, those streaks begin to look like something is amiss. That said, I am a statistician and did an analysis on coming off the bar facing a 5 point board. There is about a 30 percent chance of coming out on any one roll. I kept stats on 100 attempts for the computer and 100 for myself. To a confidence level of 95 percent, there was no statistical difference between my ability to come off the bar and the computer's ability. I'm quite certain if I had the time and patience, I could run 1000 trials and get the same result at a much higher level of confidence. | 04/27/2013
| Delete!
I deleted this app... I'm not even sure why I had it to begin with. Sacbee has a history of bashing public employees and biting the hand that feeds them. Really, now you're charging us? Forget it. | 09/27/2012 |
