| Control settings unavailable
Very enjoyable game otherwise. Consistently stays on control settings screen with spinning star when trying to change HUD layout, therefore game deleted after multiple attempts of loading and re-downloading. Unfortunate. | 06/27/2024
| Tedious waste of time
Bounce around rooms akin to many auto-fire brawl arena games. Watch ads. Do this repeatedly. Watch more ads. Then unlock the 1st vehicle. Upgrade said vehicle. Want some perks, gold, or cash to upgrade? Watch more ads. Want to max out your vehicle? Well, too bad. The metal to do so is not readily available. Why? Because F you. That’s why. The two previous games in this series were casually enjoyable. You could actually repeat missions for a purpose. This game is an ad-revenue, in-game purchase luring dumpster fire. The saving grace? It was free to download & just as easy to delete. | 05/10/2024
| Abysmal update
Newer players, please pay heed and read this to not become too invested. Initially, it is easy to do so. It becomes a grind-fest, quickly becomes an enjoyable, You’ll be sorely disappointed. Player for over four years. Heed my warning. | 04/12/2024
| Caution
Impressive port. Good graphics, overall gameplay enjoyable. Incredibly battery draining and will heat your phone. | 03/31/2024
| Bait & Switch
Loved the pixelated artwork: top-notch. Enjoyable gameplay interactions. Then the usual lie: pay for full game. Would have done so if the developer had been up-front in the game description. It is the principle of the matter. Will never bother with any future releases from this developer. | 02/03/2024
| Recent update ruined game
Game was already monetized to some extent but with the most recent update it has caused gameplay to become tedious at best and frankly incredibly frustrating without having a credit card with no spending limit. The casual player will quickly become disillusioned. It is unfortunate as the game had great potential but as happens all too often, the developer chose profit over maintaining their customer loyalty which would have enticed players to make in-app purchases by choice, not having to do so just to maintain an even chance at progressing. This customer will be deleting sooner than later as the casual, enjoyable aspect is now untenable. | 01/06/2024

| Horrible
DO NOT USE! Songs will become corrupt and play over other songs you’ve already downloaded. I implore you, do NOT use this app. I had over 200 songs I had carefully selected on my playlist, over half of which are now unplayable. Do not waste your time, please. | 09/02/2023
| Abysmal update
8/11/23 As a player of over 4 years, the newest update released on August 11 of 2023 is an absolute slap in the face to the loyal players. It is no longer fun and relaxing to collect resources, now it has become an impossible grind forcing you to make app purchases to continue. Newer players, please pay heed and read this to not become too invested. It is easy to do. You’ll be sorely disappointed. | 08/16/2023
| Grind-fest with juvenile artwork
Die-hard fans of LOTR might enjoy the novelty but this gamer deleted the app in less than a day. Imagine the fires of Mordor being a dumpster fire. That is this game. | 05/12/2023
| Error code 3.0
5/3/23 Star Wars: Galaxy of Redundant Idiocy. The app will tell u to report an issue via the game which will not load. Then you’ll be asked to report the issue while “chatting” with a bot. You will be asked to provide an email for a response which will not be sent. Kudos to you EA: you’ve fallen into an all too familiar category which many loyal players have experienced before: false fixes, non-existent aid, & down a path that is sure to alienate its veteran players and frustrate any new-comers. Congratulations on that. | 05/03/2023
| Scopely=Master Class in how to ruin a game
App has been inaccessible for over a week with no way of contacting customer support. Other reviews state they were told to report the issue (app not opening at all) via the in-game option. Really? How are you supposed to report an issue about the game not opening due to being stuck on 17% when you cannot access the app? Idiotic at best, a big middle finger to the loyal customers who have stuck with the game despite the multiple issues over the years. Another genius option offered by customer “support” is to delete the app and re-download. Is Scopley as a company staffed by brain-damaged employees? To delete and re-download would erase all of one’s progress. Thank goodness Scopely is not involved in any sort of food preparation and distribution that we all consume because we’d all be dead by now. Do NOT download this game or any of Scopely’s future offerings: you’ll only set yourself up for not only disappointment but frustration beyond compare. In closing, to Scopely: a big middle finger to you. Just like you did to the players. | 12/01/2022
| Save Yourself the Trouble: Delete it Don’t Download (This review has been deleted) Patience required. Reminiscent of Star Wars: GOH where reward(s) pale to payoff but nonetheless if one’s a fan of the genre then overall a decent experience. Recommend for casual steady play as graphics and mechanics overall are superior than some other turn-based combat formats but as aforementioned, grinding is to be expected. It would be nice with each update if said update would promptly appear in the App Store so as to not have to wait almost a full day to continue. It is becoming an annoyance. 5/5/20: Once again, another update released too soon due to crashing and or freezing issues. Without exaggeration, every update causes some sort of issue(s) with the game. Apparently quality control is consistently hungover on new releases. Keep it up and eventually you’ll be sure to alienate even the most loyal, long-standing players who will undoubtedly avoid any future releases from the same developer. Marvel. Marvel at the marvelous game crashing with each update. | 11/28/2022 | |
| Juvenile but not bad
Impressive graphics. Reminiscent of 80s cartoons. Obvious undertones of social displacement and disparity but not so heavy-handed as to be annoying. Appears to be more suited to a tween player as far as the challenge level. Would have liked to see the option to screen hold to show hot-spots to investigate during scenes. Overall a decent gaming experience. | 08/13/2022
| Puzzle game
Title says it all. | 08/10/2022
| Reminiscent of LucasArts
Beautiful graphics. Patience required as one needs to explore each scene which can be tedious with the UI but not unfamiliar with such games. Good voice-overs. Works fine on iPhone XR. Overall appears 2B an above average point and click adventure. One can tell care & consideration were put into this game. Kudos to the developer. | 06/22/2022
| Not impressed
Standard hack-and-slash, button mash, no brainer; game. Gorgeous graphics & good story, easy to use interfaces, leveling up easy and simple. For the amount of storage it takes: no thanks. Good luck trying to download any of the additional content. Miss the days of the old PC version. | 06/01/2022
| Poor import
Don’t waste your time. Graphics are fine. Annoying and clunky in-game interactions regarding inventory etc. Look for Neverwinter Nights. | 05/28/2022
| Underwhelmed
Impressive port. Frequent crashes despite more than adequate operating guidelines. Excessive micro-transactions detract from what would be an otherwise excellent game. One would do well to stay with the much more user-friendly and less expensive Enemy Within available. | 05/07/2022
| Frontier Grind
Same vein as LDOE & Grim Survival albeit an enjoyable casual on again/off again romp. Graphics, gameplay, grinding are all too familiar but nonetheless enjoyable. 9/15: Once again, server issue (supposedly). An all too familiar excuse for a developer falling into a lackadaisical attitude regarding proper maintenance and follow through. Not a good sign when one’s unable to contact (e.g. leave a message) for the developer. But I’m sure some useless freebies will be doled out for “any inconvenience” while the developer slowly alienates its’ players. A word of advice: allow for all items needed to advance to be easily accessible so one can enjoy the development of their homestead and exploring and stop with the nonsense. Maintain your product or perhaps future released endeavors may not be so well received. 10/15: Awaiting update to inaccessible areas, all the while it’s become nothing more than uselessly gathering resources for future unknowns. And for blessed sake do not do the idiotic holiday update(s) of seasonal decorations as did LDOE. We, as consumers, just want to enjoy and stress relief. Unfortunately this game may very well fall to the same fate as Last Day on Earth: deleted, due to repeated inefficiency in upkeep. A pity, if only the developer would respect the amount of investment players put into a game and once “update walls” occur it is insulting on both a professional and gaming level. 11/26: No new updates to inaccessible areas previously. Close to deleting. Unfortunate. Developer had a decent game. Perhaps didn’t receive enough in-app purchases. For those of you that read this in its entirety: aren’t you tired of being disrespected? 12/9: No new updates. Deleting. Congratulations developer. Don’t bother releasing any new games. I’m sure you made enough money through in-app purchases for those that were suckered into believing that this game would progress. You should be ashamed. The developers have garnered the same respect of a dumpster fire. 12/15: Just a friendly alert, the first image the developer is showing when you view it on the APP store is NOT actual game play. Just FYI. | 03/10/2022
| Bait and switch
Avoid this developer at all cost, (no pun intended) all three of his games on the App Store only allow you to play a few scenes before you have to pay full price. If it were upfront pricing at least that would be honest and not a sleazy business practice. | 03/04/2022
| Bait & switch
Promising game with good graphics, enjoyable and not over challenging puzzles to move from scene to scene. Deal breaker: $4.99 to unlock full game after scene 4. Developer should have been upfront. Sleazy. Will not consider any future games from this developer. | 03/04/2022
| Cyberpunk meets Cybersucks
Don’t waste your time. A re-skin of this developer’s previous attempts. Fair warning. | 02/11/2022
| Overall interesting experience
Reminiscent of the Sierra games back in the 90s. Enjoyed the quality pixelated graphics. Had to use walk-throughs frequently to complete the game. The plot was interesting and the ending as well, with one caveat: this review was written by a male, felt like the story in the last half of the game was too heavy-handed in the aspect of sin: especially the abortion issue of the main character. Even though it was more of a side-note, do not know if the developers had an underlying motive. Will not mention my stance on the abortion issue but in the game itself it was used as the main character development. Overall a good gaming experience, worthy of the cost and download. | 11/20/2021
| Clunky UI
This game would’ve played much better on the PC for an old school RPG. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it misses the mark for a phone game. For one that played it previously I’m sure it will bring back nostalgic memories. Hope others enjoy I did not. | 10/28/2021
| Interesting: for about 5 minutes
Cumbersome interface but interesting initially, was able to make it inside the manor, the game abruptly froze, promptly deleted. FYI: screen orientation forces you to hold your iPhone upside down, annoying. | 10/12/2021
| Great, when works
Overall the app is fantastic, have over 200 songs downloaded but about every two months songs skip or pause during playback usually associated prior to her immediately after an update. What is interesting is I have left reviews for this app before both applauding and criticizing it, those previous reviews have now been removed. | 10/10/2021
| Will not be disappointed
Another amazing game from the developer. Had to use on-line walk-throughs at times, but nonetheless one of the better games that the developer has made. Highly recommend. | 09/23/2021
| Honest review
Overall the graphics are impressive, the cut scenes are well done, feels like you’re playing an automated comic book in the fact that you can simply put your characters on auto combat and sit back and watch which defeats the purpose of “playing a game.“ Did notice on some of the cut scenes the lip-synching is off which is disappointing. The description said it would be an open world you could explore. I have yet to see that in the fact that you have preset missions for each character based on the ones that you choose from the beginning of course, so it feels as if you’re simply following a predetermined course with little variation of what you can do other than button mash or place on auto and sit back and watch. Also find it irritating that some of the costume changes which contribute to your attributes look ridiculous. If you want to keep the character as original you simply cannot if you want to get the boost. Netmarble did make an impressive game graphic-wise, I just found the gameplay and all the superfluous in-game mechanics such as upgrades, etc. surrounding it to be irritating. Hope others enjoy I did not. | 08/25/2021
| Highly recommend
Amazing game. Excellent graphics. Reminiscent of the old Sierra games from the 90s PC. Easy to use UI. | 08/22/2021 |
