| A brainless, vapid, little game
Just terrible. A one dimensional story, spelling and grammatical mistakes abound, and empty, brainless game mechanics. I can’t be bothered to waste any more words on such a stupid way to spend my time | 07/06/2024
| Boring, and rigged
There’s SO little variation to this game and it’s EXTREMELY ad-heavy to get any rewards. The daily spinner is rigged - I’ve only ever won the two least valuable items out of about a dozen, because they want you to pay for GOLDEN spins. | 06/21/2024
| Old school RPG
Loving crafted and clearly not a pay to play game, this has been a lot of fun! I paid to support the game as it’s clear the developer puts his heart and soul into it. Highly recommended | 02/13/2024
| NOT an RPG - a simple deck building combat game
The title / category of this game is completely misleading - there are no roleplaying elements. No choosing where to explore in a dungeon, just a series of card draws resulting in the usual tiered system of cards to battle enemy formations. There is a dash of seasoning with an elemental priority system - like rock, paper, scissors, but there is no entry storyline or dialog or character development or discovery. | 01/28/2024
| Needs work
The AI is pretty weak and plays too conservatively, however there are inexcusable errors and mistakes which don’t take the rules of backgammon into account. | 11/17/2023
| Too commercial
While there is a help system, too much remains unexplained at the beginning and I immediately felt the pressure of the intrusive prods to buy gems and other bonuses. Felt a little icky so I uninstalled | 10/21/2023
| Taxing but cool.
I’ve not played it much but it’s definitely a challenge. Lots to learn as you progress, but I’m significantly better after just a couple of hours of play than when I started | 09/23/2023
| Waaaay too difficult to play without buying boosts
No fun. Too much of a grind - for EVERYTHING. You have to pay for inventory space, pay for workers, pay for storage, pay for every building. Can’t help but think all these positive reviews came in before the game was tweaked. I’ll be uninstalling and playing with a game by a less greedy developer. | 09/12/2023
| Not bad but needs basic improvements…
In brief - the advertising is reasonable - not too intrusive, and reasonably easy to skip. | 09/09/2023
| Spamtastic app which crashes all the time
This app spans you into thinking it’s worth signing up given the amount of interest shown in your profile. Once you do, you find that a lot of that interest is old and out of date, or is a constant loop of the recent interest. Add to that the fact that the app crashes all the time when I’m trying to message someone and it’s an aggravation which isn’t worth my time. SO glad I only signed up for one month and didn’t waste more money. Also, quality control is VERY low - lots of spelling and grammatical errors in the app itself. | 12/04/2022
| Fun and engaging, but a few rough edges
So far I’m quite enjoying The Wanderer. The gameplay isn’t hugely varied but that hasn’t seemed to limit my desire to expand further and progress my character. There is enough detail in the mechanics, and the game itself if well balanced enough that it’s still a tightrope walk to make sure you don’t stray too far outside your effective range and get stomped on. | 02/09/2022
| Not for serious poker players
I’ve been looking for a decent offline poker game for a while and decided to try this. Uninstalled it after five minutes as the betting is completely unrealistic, I mean, who goes all in on the second hand (with holdings still equal for all players) with six/ten off-suit? | 01/24/2019
| Simplistic but reasonably enjoyable
Not much to say not already said. Graphics are cutesy, but shuffling is less than random | 11/01/2016
| All show, not so much go
Looks gorgeous, fun concept, but overly commercial and there are basic bugs that prevent missions being completed (i.e. Forge three items for a reward - no matter how many items I forge, the count stays at zero) | 12/08/2015
| Very useful utility, intrusive ads
I've used the speedtest.net as my go to internet test utility for a few years now. Accordingly, I was stoked to discover that they had written an app to offer the same functionality. It does exactly what it says on the can, and so can't be faulted for that, but the ads are intrusive, and frequent. However, I choose not to penalize the rating for that reason as it is the price you pay for the free version. | 06/02/2015
| Dumber than a bag of hammers
So, the desktop interface is functional and works fine. The iPhone interface is completely half baked - you can't even pull up one of the alternative phone numbers saved in a contact's profile (ie call their landline to tell them to turn on skype). | 03/15/2015
| Awesomest pay to play game
I can only echo what others have said - this is how pay to play should work. You can choose to pay to get super weapons quickly, but you don't have to possess them to progress! | 10/19/2012 |
