Please please please add take folders!
Let me start by saying: I do love this app its great. I even released an album using version 2 however I didn’t really use any of the included MiDI sounds. Mostly sounds from MODX and Omnisphere. Like version 2 this app version 3.5 it still lacks a complete way to record audio vocals or instrumental solos. There is no take folder to make a comp from different takes! Assume we Wanna record a singer or a guitar solo or a sax solo, different takes over and over to later pick the best takes and merge them into one. Logic Pro automatically makes a take folder within the same audio track, parts of this takes can than be highlighted or selected and later be merged into one comp of your favorite parts of each take. Once Cubasis has this feature and better Audio manipulation it will be Complete. It seems that the focus is on things like the metronome or fx or more mediocre midi instruments that don’t really sound that good. Let’s be real, is any professional really gonna use an acoustic piano from the included samples? Or strings or brass etc.? I think the next update should concentrate on adding real benefits to audio recording so that we can record anything we want. Like a take folders now recording vocals or instrument solos is tedious at best. I requested this feature ever since version 2 I don’t think we need another reverb or another delay or the ability to add colors or to make the metronome sound different, I think we really need for this to behave like a real DAW. (Just saying) And it’s so close !

Musicians and music creators of all kinds have different needs, some will use it to perform live, some will use it to record but this mixer is truly a Swiss Army Knife for total music app alchemy it is definitely much more than a mixer and every time I use it I discover something new about it that surprises me. I think it’s a fantastic app.

Better ingredients, better pizza, Papa John’s!

This app works well and it’s easy to use but it always logs me out even though I have face recognition on. I so t like having to enter the info over and over and sometimes it doesn’t te of the login. That’s a bit aggravating haha.

So this app works okay. My problem with it is that every time I wrote something extremely easy to make in the art part it would not do it, it half did it. I was being specific, easy stuff a kid could draw and it just wouldn’t listen. When I tried the avatars it wanted to charge me money which if an app says “3 free days” they should let you use it for real ALL the features! I would have no problem paying the $30 for the life license to use it had I have a good experience with the app. It didn’t do anything some other online AI website can do fro free.
I like the fact that they do give you a way to buy all features because I really hate subscriptions.
The app is not bad but I was expecting more.

Yet another great app by Lumbeat. I own all others but these one as the other drummers could use some necessary useful updates. The drum samples are good and it’s about 80% Intuitive. As I was programming patterns I ran into a few problems no crashes or anything like that but some things that I think should be obvious for an drum machine app to have. 1. There is no way that I could fine; to save the tempo with the pattern. This is very Important. For example if I program a pattern for a song at 80 bpm and then I create another pattern for another song at 120 bpm. The app retains the last used tempo instead of loading the tempo with each pattern. Please make it so that the tempo is saved with the pattern and if the feature is already available please tell me how to do it. 2. Although the fx are nice I couldn’t find a way to latch them and keep them on per instrument. For example I want to add reverb to the stick only or the snare only and keep the rest of the drums dry. Also let’s say I want to add a delay to the hi-hats only to emulate triplets or something it cannot be done. 3. Talking about triplets I couldn’t find an intuitive way to program triplets, though the app has multiple time signatures it would be nice to be able to program triplets easily. I’m sure there is a way but it’s not obvious or intuitive at least for me. 4. In the subject of being obvious haha. I couldn’t find a help file or a manual not on the app or website. Though these types of apps are easy to operate you seem to have a bunch of cool functions that would be well served by a well written manual or video tutorials. There are a bunch of reviews about the app but nothing that looks into it in depth. I really do like this app and I own all the other drummer styles by Lumbeat so please add all the features above on an update to all the drummers. A help file would well… help haha or at least post how to videos on your website or Youtube this way you could make us users happy and make the app a beat easier. (Pun intended)

If one presses and holds the fx button down for 3 second it will latch and keep the fx on the desire part.

I’ve been hosting a prerecorded radio show on TOPCATRADIO.eu Recently I was asked to do a weekly live show in addition to the prerecorded one. I travel a lot so I wanted to test this app to see if it could be done with as little equipment as possible. So what usually takes at list a computer to transmit another device to play the music a mixer etc. Now I can do with a small interface and an iPad. Since this app plays the music from within. It also has buttons to trigger samples. Everything you need. It connected from the servers in EU with no problem I was up and running right of way. I do have a wish list. 1. In the playlist section when you import the song it would be nice to have a visual aid of where the song is from beginning to end. 2. An independent volume control of the player so that you can raise or lower the volume within the app in case you want to talk or if an older recording is too soft. But it does work just as it is. Great job I highly recommend it.
Wish list:
1. When playing a song to have a timer or visual cue of when it’s going to end.
2. Integration with Spotify. It would be nice to be able to play Spotify playlists.

I perform music and sometimes they take a good pic of me or the band but there is a person or an object on the way. I’ve look for ways of removing the offending however, I ran into a bunch of subscriptions photo apps. I hate subscription apps!!! I found this one and I thin it’s amazing! Highly recommend it.

This app is good and I love that it includes the graphic overlays without a subscription.
However, it really needs to behave like the MeVo app.Wwe need zoom and pan. Why not marry the apps? The original Mevo app with all its features, and the ability to turn Multicam on or off and access to all the graphic features all included in one app.
I don’t t get it, one app has no graphics (unless you pay extra) and the Multicam app lacks basic features like zoom and pan on each camera. Why not make one app that works with all the features instead of two that lack features?

I was very glad to purchase a Mevo Start and I love the camera however, I was very disappointed to find out; that to use basic Overlay graphics such as lower thirds etc. You need to pay extra via a subscription! That to me is very disappointing specially on a camera that costs $400. There are FREE apps that stream to Facebook etc (even to multiple destinations that allow all kinds of graphics (lower thirds etc) without the need to pay a cent PRISM is an app that allows lower thirds, timers, graphics etc while recording and live streaming to Facebook or any social media page via the iPhone or iPad obviously it does not have the pseudo camera switcher features that MEVO has however, I’m using such an app as an example. Why exclude such basic graphic features and make the user pay extra via an annual subscription. I was very very disappointed at the lack of graphics something that is basic and should be included for free. Some of my live-streams will still have to be made with my iPhone using prism cause I really need a lower third.
And when I shoot with the MeVO Start I’ll have to record to an SD card (NOT included)
And add the lower thirds on an editing program. And while I’m sharing my dissatisfaction Mevo doesn’t send it’s $400 camera with a case or SD card something that frankly I think should be included.
In the positive side, the app works well as a pseudo switcher you do have to twick the colors of the camera to enhance the picture since I find it a bit flat. The microphones are decent in a quite environment and I like the fact that you can use an Audio interface through the USB port. Audio meters in the app work well and the size of the camera and design is brilliant! I’m just disappointed That no graphics are included in a package that should include them. I really couldn't care less to livestream to multiple destinations. But a camera that claims to act as a switcher and does not include pic in pic and lower thirds is not really a switcher is it?

I cannot say enough good things about this app. It worked for immediately through Facebook Live. This app is very intuitive and it has all the features that one would need for a decent stream.

All though the review is new; I bought this app when it first came out. I did use it live at the gig for a song or two. That was a while ago and I had stop using it but I decided to open it again and see if anything was new in it. Voila! Yes there was! I find this app addicting and it is truly an instrument if you spend the time to learn it, the stuck sounds are decent and it does what is supposed to do. I really like it also, I was so glad that Swan was making instruments for the Geo Shred although a bit pricey, I jumped and bought the violin and the saxophone. Great sounding instruments probably the best sounds/patches out there however, I was very disappointed that you cannot control the swan instruments with a MIDI controller (it has to be a special one) which really would have saved a lot of time on learning riffs within Geo. With the Geo factory sounds you can still control a lot even using a standard MIDI controller I don’t know why swan disable the MIDI outputs. Using Geo within Cubasis it became unstable and it was unplayable I really think that for the price of the Swan extensions they should allow standard MIDI control. As they are right now I probably won’t use them that much. I bought swan trumpet and is such a joy to play with a MIDI controller I really don’t understand why they offer such good sounds/patches of a sax and violin and not let you play them with an standard controller it makes them almost unusable for some people. I really hope they fix that. Anyway that’s my 2 cents.

This truly is a great app.

The app use to work beautifully, now it freezes seconds after starting. It has become unusable. I have tried it both on my iPad Pro and my iPhone XS and it does not work. Please please please fix it.

I like this app and I wanted to like it more.
The good: it is easy to use and it works fine, specially with an interface almost all the tools you need are right there to make it a multitrack musical sketch pad for ideas etc.
The bad: you can only edit the tracks you recorded, meaning, for example: if I lay down drum and bass and then send it to someone else to record guitars and to someone else to record the keyboards, I wouldn’t have access to edit the other tracks! Only the tracks that I recorded. So that makes it impossible to make a final mix.
Obviously the effects are limited or non existent and it’s quirky to edit the waveforms.
Al in all it is a good idea but is not there yet. I much rather use Multitrack Daw, Cubasis or GarageBand

This app is awesome!

I have been using this app for the last 6to 8 months (I lost count) and I really really enjoy it. It is easy to set up and easy to use, I was using outlook and this is so much better, I use multiple accounts on it and it works great. I recommend!

I bought this app since it came out, I’ve used it often. Now which a new phone I went to download and it gave me version 2 which has no features. When I clicked restore it would not restore the features. As I said I already bought this app I do t know why they are making me pay again to use it.
I cannot find the original HTML Egg all I find is version 2 - we shouldn’t have to pay for updates.

This app is awesome but it does have its bugs. As a Stan alone app it worked flawlessly however when I tried to run it on the master with Cubasis it didn’t work. There is a work around as you must launch Final Touch before launch Cubasis then the inter app connection is successful I mixdown a track and it worked however at the end of the mixdown I got all kinds of noise from the app. That being said I wish it could run as an Audio Unit also, just make it more stable when running with Cubasis. The presets are a great starting point and I really love the interface it’s reminiscent of Ozone. Another feature They should add is Google Drive uploads right now it only pleads to ftp or Dropbox I would love to be able to bounce my files to google drive, also it would be nice if they also added an Aural Exciter as an option or a in app purchase. So far I like it but they should really work on the stability while running within other apps and also more connectivity options such as google drive.

This program is amazing! It’s as close to Logic Pro I’ve seen on the iPad there is also Auria however I find Auria a bit cluttered i find the interface of cubasis to be clean and easy to move around. Easy to edit and it’s truly a great companion, specially for a MODX or Montage I do wish it had a couple of other features that I miss a lot, and they should ad this feature in an update, I would even be willing to pay through an in app purchase for this feature.
Please add Audio Recording Comping within one track.
For example: Logic Pro has an elegant way to record multiple takes of audio in one track and it automatically saves them in a virtual take folder in the same track, in this way later you can make the perfect take as you can draw different parts of each take and assemble the perfect take that you can then flatten into one perfect take.
Now you could do it by recording each take on a different track however, you would have to mute the last track recorded every time something that slows down the flow also it becomes tedious to edit.
Feature request:
1. Please add (Comp recording) Please please add a way that you can loop record and while the cycle repeats you can record over and over different takes on the same track to later on edit the perfect take.
(That is what I miss the most)
2. Some way to auto tune vocals, not automatically but something we can edit by cents etc. sometimes the singer has the perfect take but one note got a bit flat. We should have the ability to tune that note.
3. Please add The ability to rename projects within the project window.
4 . Please add The ability to make templates ready to load and be able to rename said template within the main window.
5. Please add markers or a marker track. On a long project it would be easier to navigate.
6. Please add the ability to control the mixer through midi control, so that we can mix with external gear for more precise control. Midi learn would be awesome s we can program any gear to control the mixer.
7. To be able to mixdown the project as stems (individual tracks) into a folder, rather than separate files.

I was so happy with is app when I played it. It sounded awesome and then to my big surprise I was a bit disappointed. Here is why: Korg on their website states "Korg Module for iPad. Ideal for performance" I cannot believe that Korg did not include the ability to layer and split the sounds and also the midi implementation is non existent OMG!!! Not being able to control the volume and other parameters with a midi keyboard controller renders the module app unusable on a live gig, specially at the price point that is not "ideal for performance", Sampletank and iLectric and Galileo organ have a very good midi implementation I cannot believe Korg fell short on these features. It does sound good but I was expecting more from a company like korg. Also no metronome? Please please please korg add the ability to control All midi parameters volume, cut off, etc add Audiobus and the ability to layer the sounds and split them. For now 3 stars when they add all these features we should already have this app would be worth 7 stars as for now they should not claim their in the forefront of mobile music.
Module Pro or Pro?
The included sounds are ok nothing I would use However, the expansion library specially the Ivory American D piano it’s excellent! The Skarbee Rhodes it’s amazing! And the Triton sounds are good. These are very usable sounds. Than again still Korg falls behind, if you want to split and layer you have to pay extra!!! What and it’s $20 (at 50% Off) so really $40 for that feature only and in top of that you can only either Layer OR Split not both at the same time, and only two sounds!!! I have to repeat my self, Sampletank you can layer or split 8 sounds and it’s a feature that’s included with the app! I did buy the Ivory Piano, the Triton sounds and the Scarbee Rhodes. And even on the triton sounds they fall behind, you get the nice sounds but not all of them, and the programming is very limited. So all tough the THiRD Party libraries are good and useable the app still should falls behind, sampletank still wins.
Come on Korg catch up and don’t be greedy throw obvious and needed features at no extra charge and a good bass collection would also help maybe a Essential sounds collection. And ad the ability to layer and split at least 4 sounds at no extra charge, come on!

These app is good however it is to expensive, I really do not like subscription apps. I guess they are aim at companies or marketing people. But for individuals or occasional users that want to use it, the price is to steep. I would consider paying maybe every time I render or something like that. Apps that offer a subscription really exclude a lot of potential customers.

Is like having baby photoshop in your phone the mask tools are awesome the effects and everything else are excellent the ability to impose pictures is great!!!! Plus text / the layout is intelligent and the work flow..... Well it flows! 5 stars /. I have other photo editors like photogene and a couple others this is by far the best Photo Editor for the iPhone worth the money!!!!
