  • Version1.1
    09/24/2019

    Single-player card adventure

    Update Log

Version 1.1 adds a brand new Assassin class, a new boss, more missions, loads of new cards, perks... takes a breath... new enemies and NPCs, 2 new areas to explore, shiny new equipment. You get the idea. If you've enjoyed Void Tyrant so far, you're going to love this Outlaws and Assassins Update. The new Assassin class unlocks via IAP, the rest is free to all players.

+ New Assassin class, 10 unique/upgradable class cards, 7 perks, & 2 upgrade missions. Compatible with all races

    + 44 new cards

+ New side areas Bazaar and Maintenance Tunnel

+ New boss, 4 new enemies, 3 new NPCs

+ 12 new wearable equipment cards for 4 new armor sets: Initiate set, Assassin set, Bloodletter set, Power set.

    + 6 new weapon cards

+ 6 new skill cards (from NPCs of the new “Skill Trainer” type)

    + 4 new off-hand equipment cards

+ 2 new enemy traits: Dodger & Bully

+ 3 missions related for new areas, with starting gear rewards

    + New perk: Duelist Reflexes

+ New environmental status effect: Low Oxygen

    GENERAL

+ Added confirm screen before destroying an equipment card

+ Added setting to toggle screen shake

+ Old high scores moved to a legacy leaderboard

    BALANCE

+ Anput Statuette now ignores target’s armor and elemental effectiveness

+ Adjusted values of equipment cards Sharpshooter Gloves, Executioner Gloves, Precision Gloves - aligned with new Assassin gear and stats

+ Fire Ball, Blinding Flash, Corrosive Growth, Holy Vengeance, Umbral Leech, Icy Mist - now deal more damage and cost 20 EP instead of 25 EP

    + Increased Hip Shots damage

+ Shop prices for several town upgrades adjusted

+ Shrine of Zerloot no longer appears in endless mode

+ Disintegrate Armor (boss skill card) now causes armor breakage on Win. It still permanently destroys a wearable on a Critical Win. When destroying a wearable, it is now also more clear, showing text for which slot had its equipment destroyed.

+ When reviving during a fight with the final boss, and if he’s got 100 or more energy, his energy will go down to 80 to prevent a potential instant kill on reviving, using the card Hero Destroyer.

+ Energy Barrier (boss card) now costs 10 EP to play and restores 10 EP per hit (Previously 15 / 5 EP)

+ TokTik self-destruct damage lowered to the scale [15/20/25/30/35/40/...] (was [15/30/45/60/75/100/...])

+ Kephri Artifact drops increased slightly in Shipwreck, more in Maintenance Tunnel

+ Increased drop rate for mission item Royal Heirloom

+ Raised targets for 2 and 3-star mystery pack rewards on game over. You now need to travel further, defeat more monsters, & collect more gold to get mystery pack 2 & 3. This accounts for longer runs due to side routes.

    IMPROVEMENTS

+ Memory, load time, & performance improvements

+ Increased the speed of coins being counted at the end of a run

    + Stripped unused localisations

+ Equipment screens now disregard armor bonuses from status effects and show more permanent value when inspecting and comparing loot

    BUG FIXES

+ Rating ask should appear less frequently

+ Bug causing health not to be added when getting healed by shrines or NPCs

+ Animation bug causing the town screen to be zoomed in after leaving the shop, the cafe, or archive.

+ Animation errors on the map when entering the second destination

+ Bug causing the game to lock by tapping a shrine in quick succession

+ Bug causing missions to register incorrectly when completing goals for another mission

+ Bug preventing some loot drops from containing mission items

+ Bug causing cards that affect player energy to inadvertently adjust the position of all hand cards

+ Bug causing Blood Nebula Strike to heal the same HP on Critical Win as on Win

+ Bug causing Ceremonial Boots to remove the wrong status effects

+ Bug making it impossible to discard when energy was too low, even if Mainframe Brain was active

+ AI issue where enemies could play curses or enchantments with that effect already in place

+ Broken status effect sprite tag in the description for Engulfed

+ MInor text edits and corrections
