I used to use bumble for a bit every day. Swiping for fun. Well, lately it’s slowed down a bit, not getting as many matches, and when I did, they wouldn’t message me. Then I log onto bumble after a week or two of no activity and find my account was “blocked”, meaning banned. I hadn’t even sent any messages to anyone in a solid month, because they don’t message first!! I haven’t said anything wild or raunchy to people on this app anyway because 1) the girls on here are boring anyway and 2) they seem like the type to get offended. So in short, I’ve looked at recent reviews, and I can confirm what others are saying: random no reason bans if you’re a guy just cause I guess. BUMBLE HATES MEN.

I don’t get how people in South Dakota can like people in Colorado. There is 100 mile limit and last I checked CO is further than 100 miles from SD. It’s so annoying. Bumble needs to do something about that.

It’s $50 a month to get the full benefits OR you can drop $8 on 30 mins of Spotlight, with no tangible statistics given to you if it’s giving you what is promised. They stopped the “girls talk first” part of it, which I liked.
Yes, they have free features and a business to run but guys, that same $50 will get you three months at Planet Fitness and that same $8 will get you halfway to buying David Goggins’ “Can’t Hurt Me”. Or invest that $50 in a retirement account, whatever you choose it’s 100% better than burning your money on this app or any overpriced dating app. Invest in yourself, guys.

It’s impossible keep going sign in after base date. It doesn’t upload any photos, you can’t skip pages and start to use the app. And what is the most worse that it doesn’t have any support team for fix your problem

The app is slick but busy. Feels less serious as a dating app and so do the users, compared to other dating apps. But what I really dislike is how predatory it feels.
Swiping is so sensitive compared to everything else on your phone, so it’s easy to accidentally swipe while you scroll. Want to undo? Subscribe. If you do, you also get a handful of Super Swipes. The button is in the bottom right corner and wouldn’t you know it, it’s really easy to accidentally use one when you are trying to swipe left on someone. 🤦🏻‍♂️ The app sends you push notifications all the time saying that someone liked you. What to see who? Subscribe. And even though that subscription lets you “undo” a swipe, it’s a different subscription than the one the app sells you when you tapped undo. There app doesn’t really lay out what you do and don’t get when it sells you a subscription, except when they are trying to upsell you on their top tier subscription.

I started using bumble again after 3-4 years. Compared to that time it constantly asks you for money. It took one of Facebook dating best features, which is to send a compliment to someone while swiping, and requires payment for it (30 compliments for $65). It still wants money for unlimited swipes. I think Facebook dating and bumble are so similar now you should stick with the free stuff on Facebook.
Good news is there’s still people on here to chat with, I still have matches and potential dates after using it for a day or two.

One star for being too overpriced.

This app just wants your money to match you. Every time I run out of likes, my next person is attractive…then when likes are available next day…hottie is gone. Interesting…. F this.

So this app would be great if they didn’t try to charge you for everything. Can’t like more than ten people a day or look at people who like you unless you pay them.
