OUR VALUE PROPOSITION Did you know that the average time people spend on social media in a year is equivalent to reading 200 books!? What if we could convert some of this time into learning new things? We thought about it, and realised there is no second easy option. Finding good cultural material on the internet is hard: too many options, hard to find new sources and content, too many different User Interfaces, too many links, and so on and so forth. We then decided to develop Rigel to collect all this information into a single app. We do the search. We do the validation. We do the provisioning. You just enjoy it. But bear in mind, Rigel IS NOT YANA (Yet Another News Aggregator), we do NOT provide news. Our pool of sources comprises the most renown magazines and blogs on the internet: our content is valid, readable and interesting even tomorrow. WHY THE NAME Rigel is one of the brightest star of our sky (7th), specifically belonging to the Orion constellation. We figured it as a sort of lighthouse for knowledge and culture, in the form of an app. MADE FOR YOU We have designed Rigel to ease the process of accessing information so that you can spend more time on discovering new things than losing time scrolling social media feeds.
