This is a paid app. The free version is now useless, they got rid of the motion recording unless you pay premium monthly. Don’t recommend look for another app.

I usted to love it when it had the play back feature you now need to pay expensive subscription in order to view the footage and since I use my own phone as a camera I believe this app is now worthless.
I switched to Wyze is free and 24/7 recording

I’d been using this app for over 2 years and it worked fine for my needs: just occasional monitoring in my home when I’m not in it. They have now made a change where playing back your videos (which is the whole point of having a security camera) is now a “premium” feature, whereas before it was a normal feature for all users (Premium member got more customization, but it wasn’t mandatory). They have pushed me away from this app with this change and I will be switching to a different provider. Greediness is not a good look.

It used to be a great app. I understand that the developer needs to make money, but as soon as I sign up, they take away the playback feature and most features are premium features, and I can afford premium so sad erasing this app

Alfred has been amazing for the past year of me using it. Now they already push so many ads and throw the subscribe to their premium option all over the app. Well now you can’t even watch the camera clips anymore without subscribing, so this camera app is basically useless unless you pay for premium. I guess I’ll be looking into another option now.

Not only did they paywall the ability to playback motion capture events, the videos are stored on your device. They’re essentially trying to charge you to be able to stream clips stored to the recording device instead of offering their own more secure (in relation to storing it on an old phone locally) servers.

Was a great app until they got money hungry and started charging for playback features

This app does almost everything, landscape mode is missing; add geofencing and it’ll be 💯!

Can’t watch live or recorded playback. Now totally useless unless you pay monthly fees

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP BEFORE YOU READ THIS! This company has no shame, save your time. I have used this app for at least 5 years. It used to serve a purpose. As of this morning, it doesn’t. As I’m taking my dropping my mother off i get an alert from alfred. It captured movement in my home. While im gone! I see a preview of the capture and can just barely make out the shape of a person in my bedroom. Alarmed, i pull over to watch it, so i can let the police know what i see when i call them and instead of the 30 second video playing i see:

needless to say i wont be bullied into premium. I’m moving on. I didn’t get notified that in x amount of days i wouldn’t be able to watch the recordings without upgrading .And i still don’t know who/what was is in my room. Hoping im not a breaking news headline in a few hours because someone is in my bedroom closet hiding-waiting on me to get home. 100% useless. What a real disappointment
