Sandbox is the unlimited sequel to our Strategy & Tactics: World War II. We've abandoned historical restrictions and turn limits making your task deceptively simple - take command of any European army and lead it to victory in World War 2.

You can recreate the actual politics of the era - or not. For instance, as Great Britain you could side with the USSR to crush Germany - or you could disable the historical alliances and lead America to conquer Europe...

Random events like guerrilla movements, landing operations, and voluntary recalls will ensure endless replayability and the uniqueness of each game session. You’ll be making your own history!

We've added a new map - Asia!

That's 17 countries, including the USA, Japan, China, Tibet plus 150 marine and 300 land regions. And we've developed fantastic new graphics for the new Asian armies! We've also improved the random events system: now it affects the gameplay more than ever!

1. We've added the Navy!

- New gameplay element: Addition of the naval branch of the armed forces has dramatically changed the nature of the conflict.

- More opportunities for defense, offensive action, and conquest.

- Take control of naval routes and landing operations.

- 4 types of ship:

++ Battleship – a veritable behemoth that bombards the coastline to weaken the enemy's defenses.

++ Cruiser – a powerful multifunctional ship.

++ Submarine – perfect for hunting down the enemy fleet.

++ Destroyer – an affordable multi-purpose ship.

2. We've changed the Air Force balance, making air raids even more devastating!

The major countries now have more opportunities to carry out landing operations, which can further change the balance of power in a number of regions.

Added coups d'etat and civil wars. In the course of these events, some countries can be annexed by other states, with all troops switching allegiance as well!

+ Changing Coalitions

In certain circumstances, countries can now sever military alliances and form new ones. Former enemies can become friends, and vice versa.
