Seems far better than Uber Eats!

I use door dash a lot and for the most part I don’t have too many issues when using the app BUT recently I’ve been seeing scams and have even became a victim of one. Here’s the scam: They pick a random restaurant and use it as a front. They lure you in with deals and discounts and ofc delicious looking food. Once you place the order you may notice that it says the restaurant is going to use their own carrier instead of a dasher to deliver your food. When checking the order status it will tell you that your order has been confirmed then eventually tell you that they are preparing it as well but you will never get a notification letting you know that your order has been being picked up or that your dasher is on the way. After a while one might get suspicious and want to get help on the order to see what’s going on or even cancel the order and get your money back but when you press the help button,the only option you get is to call the restaurant, since it stated that it isn’t a dasher that’s going to be delivering food. So DoorDash can’t really help you at all. When you try and call the restaurant it will go to an automated voicemail message every single time. Then when you look up the store, you may realize that the restaurant they are using as a front isn’t even in your state. At this point you’ll probably keep trying to get support from DoorDash but before you can even do that you’ll see on your order status that it says your order is complete. At this time you can press the help button again and you will have more options but any option you choose will either tell you to once again to call the restaurant, that just robbed you, for help or that your food has already been delivered. DOORDASH NEEDS TO FIX THIS ASAP. This is an app that possess millions of people’s personal information like your name, number, address and debit/credit card information, So it’s VERY CONCERNING to know that SCAMMERS and HACKERS have INFILTRATED THE APP.

Wish I could give less than one star. This is the worst delivery app available and they’ll charge you every step of the way even though every single order for almost a year now has been WRONG!

This app really steals ur money, and has a bug where it charges u and doesnt place the order. THEY CHARGED ME 4TIMES WITHOUT IT SAYING ORDER CONFIRMED. DONT GET SCAMMED. UBER EATS BETTER FR

I really wish DD would force merchants or change its algorithm to allow us to MODIFY OUR ORDERS
I am tired of having to call the w re Stuart’s to kiddy over the phone!
They hate it too, pls fix that.

DoorDash is terrible! They stop giving refunds after a certain amount! We’ll stop messing up and I won’t need so many refunds! Once they didn’t issue a refund fir a missing order I’m through going to Uber eats!!

Raquel one of my last dashers who “delivered” for me or was supposed to. I have her on camera confirming the drop off for the food and then continuing to walk away with the bag to her car and then drive off. the directions were to leave it at the door. And then when I called her she said she handed to the kid at the door and no one was home but me I have her on camera commiting fraud
