    Το «GDPR in your pocket» είναι μια δωρεάν εφαρμογή για συσκευές iOS, Android και Windows 10/11 που αναπτύχθηκε στο πλαίσιο των Έργων SMEDATA και SMEDATA II (https://smedata.eu/) που συγχρηματοδοτείται από το «Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme» της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης. Σκοπός του είναι να εισαγάγει τον Γενικό Κανονισμό Προστασίας Δεδομένων (GDPR) στους πολίτες και τις μικρές και μεσαίες επιχειρήσεις (ΜΜΕ) με εύχρηστο και κατανοητό τρόπο και να τους παρέχει πρακτικές γνώσεις και συμβουλές για τα δικαιώματά τους, αντίστοιχα υποχρεώσεις βάσει της νομοθεσίας της ΕΕ για την προστασία δεδομένων. Η διεπαφή χρήστη και μεγάλα τμήματα του περιεχομένου είναι διαθέσιμα στα Αγγλικά, Ιταλικά, Βουλγαρικά, Γαλλικά και Γερμανικά.
    Η εφαρμογή παρέχει πρόσβαση σε ποικίλους πόρους νομικών πληροφοριών και υλικό καθοδήγησης στον τομέα της προστασίας της ιδιωτικής ζωής και των προσωπικών δεδομένων που οργανώνονται σε δύο βασικά στοιχεία – Νομική βιβλιοθήκη και συμβουλευτική ενότητα.
    1) Νομική βιβλιοθήκη
    Η Νομική βιβλιοθήκη σάς παρέχει πρόσβαση σε μια πλούσια συλλογή νομικών εγγράφων της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και τεσσάρων κρατών μελών της ΕΕ – Βουλγαρία, Ιταλία, Γερμανία και Γαλλία ως εξής:
    • Διατάξεις διεθνών και κοινοτικών συνθηκών που σχετίζονται με την προστασία της ιδιωτικής ζωής και των προσωπικών δεδομένων
    • Περιλήψεις σχετικών υποθέσεων του Ευρωπαϊκού Δικαστηρίου Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων

    Η συμβουλευτική ενότητα παρέχει πρακτική καθοδήγηση σχετικά με τους κανόνες GDPR σε πολίτες και ΜΜΕ. Περιλαμβάνει τα ακόλουθα στοιχεία:
    • Ο GDPR έγινε απλός – ένας οδηγός που χρειάζεται γνώση που εξηγεί με κατανοητό, εύκολα κατανοητό τρόπο τα δικαιώματα των ατόμων και τις υποχρεώσεις που επιβάλλονται στους οργανισμούς.
    • Εργαλεία υποστήριξης αποφάσεων – βοηθούν τους εκπροσώπους των ΜΜΕ να βρουν τεκμηριωμένες λύσεις για βασικά ζητήματα που σχετίζονται με την προστασία δεδομένων. They offer a simplified ‘Q\u0026A’ wizard interface to solve practical problems (e.g. “Does my organisation need a DPO?”, “Shall my organization maintain a record of processing activities?”, etc.) based on a step-by-step interaction with the user;
    • Frequently asked questions – gives answers to typical questions of citizens and SMEs based on the experience gained in the questions and answers procedures set up by the Bulgarian and Italian data protection authorities;
    • GDPR dictionary – a glossary of legal terms and definitions introduced by GDPR.
    You can search throughout the content of the application using the search tool available in the Main menu (global search feature). You can also make search queries in the text of opened documents (local search feature).
    Additionally, the application offers you:
    • An option to bookmark pieces of content (e.g. articles of GDPR) you want to read later
    • An option to save locally in the disk memory of your device the text of preferred documents, which allows you to access their content in offline mode.
