This app is plagued with people that will fish for your information, and use your account and IP to get you banned.

I have used the application for several years and had no problems until the last billings. I have paid for the unlimited service that is not getting activated and continues to ask for the payment to be made in order to access the services. I have written to the grindr support page on several occasions without a response from the company. I'm still waiting for an answer.

Grindr uses tons of “Fake Profiles” to lure users into $ subscription. If you initiate a “Search” and slightly move pin from your current location, you will get very different results from what was originally presented to you. Sometimes you can’t recognize a single “local” profile that are normaly on the grid.

I love receiving all of my messages at once 24 hours later!

It never updated. Constantly have to close the app, get back in, for it to work. Shows people from way outside my region. It works for what it is. Needs work.

The ads are obtrusive and scammy, things are suddenly very glitchy and buggy, every feature is now behind a paywall and the paid versions are so expensive it’s insulting. the devs must have stock in sniffies or something because It genuinely feels like they are trying to run this app into to the ground by slowly making it more and more unusable.

Grindr is virtually unusable with the amount and frequency of the ads that take over the entire application. It’s almost impossible to use, view two or so profiles you’re then hit with an ad, sit through that ad and ready a couple messages but in the middle of responding…bam ad.
Honestly Grindr is in the pits these days. And the cost of the app is beyond ridiculous.

I would give 5 stars but when I move my location to see who else is around me. The chat would only say 1 chat remaining instead of 3

Paid subscriber. No real support team whatsoever. The only thing consistent about this app is that it doesn’t work. I have to reboot it every time I use it multiple times.

This app is now so glitchy it’s getting so annoying and unpractical!
- Messages keep failing to be sent, have to close and reopen the app to send them.
- Global glitch where all the pictures in albums or full albums got deleted
- Delayed notifications. I.e notification received for messages received hours if not days prior
- Or simply even turned on, the notifications didn’t go through
- and everything seems now to be a money grab. The simple features are paid features.
