Update LogWe've made some serious upgrades... are you ready for this?
We're so excited to bring you a revamped, refreshed, better-than-ever Monet, optimized for more creativity and expression and fun. Here's what's changed:
- Instead of seeing profiles one-by-one in a stack, discover new people on your map! Refresh the cards at any time to get a new batch of profiles.
- Speaking of profiles... your profile now contains widgets that can showcase your personality and interests even better. Add your playlists, your star signs, your favorite Wikipedia articles, and more. When you're done with that, add some profile decorations to adorn your profile's appearance on the map. Get wacky!
- Now, when sending someone a drawing, you can directly reference a specific widget by responding to it. As your matches update their profiles, you can keep responding to their profile widgets in chat!
We know that was a lot of information– take a second to process it all. When you're ready, here's what's brand new to Monet:
- The canvas got a big upgrade. Introducing... the color pink! The text tool! You get all the classic elements of a Monet doodle, but better.
- REMIX. Remix, remix, remix. Now, when someone sends you a drawing, add your own spin on it to make a new masterpiece altogether! On your own profile, invite people to remix your drawings by adding a Remix Widget.
- Decorate your profile with doodles! Make a creative first impression when you appear on other's maps.
- The new Event Center now houses the Splash Screen Competition! Decorate the Monet loading screen as best you can and submit your entry; we'll pick some of our favorites to be the Monet splash screen.
These are just the big highlights– plenty of small surprises await you in the app. This update has been a long time coming, and we hope it helps you express yourself better, make more drawings, and have more fun with your matches.
