After the AAOS upgrade to version 3.1.9, the air purification feature is now missing.

The UI design is very nice and well crafted. However, the app startup time and the time it takes to process app to vehicle communication is very slow—the times are often 5-10 seconds or even more. Myself, I mainly use the app for a notification if I forget to lock the door, which has always worked well, but it’s hard to justify the over $200/yr price tag just for that.

Watch app CONSTANTLY disconnects or logs out. Requires reconnection or manual login making it effectively useless. I thought this would be great to use on a run. Leave the key in the car, lock with my watch app, run, unlock with app. Sounds great but nope. Doesn’t work. Watch app is always logged out. Every time I’ve tried to use it I had to log back in using the phone. Can’t use the watch app to login.

The app works as a iWatch widget but it does not indicate an Volvo app icon. Only a nondescript or black spot. Please update. Thanks.

Rear cup holders are impractical

I pay a yearly fee to use this app, for the convenience of being able to remotely start my car with my phone. And suddenly now, every time I want to get into the app I have to re-enter my user name, password AND get a pin! This is beyond ridiculous! As it is the app only works about 1/2 the time. For a paid app (that wasn’t cheap) this is really disappointing.

I’m frustrated with the app. We pay a fee for the service and suddenly, I get asked to resign in with a pin that’s emailed to me (2FA). I reached out to support because I thought there was an issue and they said some users are being promoted every time they load the app! That’s horrible!! I’m questioning if I want to renew the subscription now.
For what we pay, there should be more options and we shouldn’t have to deal with something like this happening.

Videos online say that you can schedule charge time as long as you’re the admin, but it doesn’t show up in the latest version of this app. Very disappointing.

The need for this app is frustrating because this is the only way to do remote start. And lots of times I’m in an area with poor reception or it takes the app so long to load that I’ve already walked to the car so 7/10 times I can’t use it at all. And now it requires $200/yr to extend the subscription just to have remote start?!?!? Which all other luxury brands have easy access to on the fob?? That’s ridiculous. Guess I’ll be selling my car soon.
