Customer service is ran by people operating as robots just reading scripts with no actual sense of humanity. I placed an order through ubereats (using the Uber app) and stated I was allergic to an ingredient, and for it to be left out. That note was ignored, and instead of calling and complaining to the store, I placed a request within the Uber app. After sending pictures, and speaking with multiple customer service representatives who’ve either hung up on me, or ended our chat for no reason (to which no one has decided to answer to, it just keeps getting closed). The only resolution I was left with, was that “this restaurant is not eligible for refunds on orders in this situation and unfortunately there is nothing we can do”. I’ve been a loyal user of Uber for many years. After today, I no longer plan to continue wasting my money with a company that won’t even value me as a customer.

We were told Uber works very well here, and it actually does, one little glitch is that Uber drivers are also taxi drivers and we were looking for the license plate on a non-taxi vehicle in a crowded area where taxis prevailed, therefore confusing us between the two entities, our driver explained the local policy, would be nice if Uber had some kind of notice about it because we almost gave up, we finally located our driver and all ended well.

The price quoted before ordering didn’t match the price after ordering. The time for delivery before ordering was listed as 30-45 minutes, but the moment I ordered, the estimated time went to an hour and 5 minutes, and the estimate “based on thousands of orders like yours” went to an hour and a half. The actual time was almost exactly that. This was on a Tuesday 12:30-2pm in a suburb. I wish that was shown the more accurate estimates before placing my order.

I’m in the rain at the airport and the ap won’t let me book a car w out an update. The time to updat is going between 28 mins and 55 mins. Not a good user experience.
