It's tragic to see what used to be a great social network of likeminded travelers and hosts devolve into a gatekept, profit-oriented AND poorly designed subscription-based app, antithetical to the gift/human economy that it once facilitated. This also makes it likelier that youll encounter only sleazy "hosts" who can flaunt their wealth in order to try and coucher avec you. Like the more generous reviewer below commented: FIX IT. And end this $60 "lifetime verification" scam.
