Save yourself some money. Everything is a gimmick. The app sucks, the device is just a mirror for the phone with lag, and on top of that, after I paid hips of money on a triumph edition, I have to pay for audio guidance. I would return it with no second thoughts, but I lost too much time hoping for better and also lost the receipt. Later edit: even route planning requires money now.

for me as a new rider, the display is simple but with just the right information to make it really effective. I like all the post ride data as well!

good so far, the unit is really good. Just need to get the hang of the route planing

No needs for phone mount.

Great little navigation device, would give 5 stars if it allowed me to plan a route via off road cycle paths, but this was resolved by planning it on Komoot and uploading the gpx file

It's not perfect, but it's simple intuitive and provides you choices on how busy the roads on your route are. You can also choose a traditional map with turn by turn indicators or an elegant black screen with simple directional arrows and the distance until your turn. Also, another feature is the compass route. You pick a destination and it simply tells you how far in a straight line to it and leaves you to find the way....whichever roads you take to get there are up to you!

keeps pausing and doesn't seem able to recognise when you start moving again

I'm using beeline moto 1 for now, but I'm eager to upgrade to the 2 gen. It's less minimalistic maybe but in some cases it's absolutely preferable to see not only arrow but the exact road where to go (for example with 2 turns located very close one to another it's very easy to miss one you need with an arrow). What about app it still needs some development though it has became much better than was before. Beeline is the nicest system, but I hope it'll become also the best for any navigation.
