Why did you mess with perfection? Please bring back the old version! This one is slow, continues to crash. My 5 star rating is now 1 star.

Had to remove stars because it barely works now. Click links in web and it doesn't open in app. App crashes all the time. Notifications don't lead to the article it's a huge mess. Only gets points for being AP.

Poor app will not load or work when installed.

Update: I can no longer share rhe articles from the app which I did almost every day to try to combat misinformation. Sad. News delivered without opinions. Allows users to get the facts without bias. I recommend this app all the time to people who are way to influenced by Fox or CNN.

Poor privacy. Only allows you to use the app if you agree to allow them to invade your privacy.

Update: new update crashes constantly and completely borked the ability to click into a story from a notification. A poor trade for a marginally more flashy UI. Top 10 worst app update of all time. As for content, AP is a reliable, reasonably-neutral source of information with minimal editorializing.

App keeps crashing after it tries to open ap news URL links.

It was working but this latest update has killed it. Sometimes it opens, usually crashes and I can't open other articles because it crashes. If I get anything, it's the headline in my notifications. 😠

Love the content. Love the AP. But this app constantly crashes. Very frustrating.

Overwhelming amount of downloaded data!! I opened this AP news, read one article and was notified about data usage. My phone said that this app downloaded 480 MB of data for that one article. I would have expected all of their headlines and the data for that one article to be less than 2 MB of data.
