Proton mail app. is as easy to use and has most or all of the same options as the biG mail app. I switched some time ago, at least 1.5 years, and love the yhe app. also, I have the VPN with it. They offer a great VPN also. It truly is a win-win, or at least it is for me. I still have my big mail app. though. I put all my bs mail there. the biG Mail app. is good for that. It really has been safe. There have been no info or securitu leaks that I'm aware of, I have moved family over as well. C.H.

Good for security reasons

love it. you don't have to have a secondary security log in. so when I loose another phone one inevitably I can log in at the library to get into my Gmail for the new phone!

Proton has been great until they implemented this new policy which they have authority to delete your account if your inactive for 1 year that's no longer freedom but control. To Proton please do not delete proton accounts if someone has been inactive more then 1 year. I understand the pressure big companies such as Google,Facebook have been putting on you.But still fight back against these big techs.Proton you used to be for freedom now your just allowing big techs to bully you around.For shame

Finally a mail client that feels like it can convince me to make the switch over from Gmail!

Scam, all email get flagged, 1 out of 100 emails will come through 20 minutes after it was originally sent.

I like that the app is easy to use, but it's still rough on the edges. To mark an email as span you need four taps, and there is no unsubscribe option like in Gmail. Also archiving emails takes some seconds to disappear from the inbox list.
