Rigged As others have noted, they have an incentive for you to buy more chips. After getting you hooked, they clearly rig the game. In ultimate Texas hold em, the dealer has a slight advantage (52% or so) if you play right. At first I thought I was imagining things but I kept track and it became mathematically impossible. In fact, they seemed to make the math work against you. If you start playing it right— I.e. going 4X when you have a king and an ace or pocket kings— it works against you. When there’s nothing on the table, and you have a high card (say ace) they always have a pair. If you get a straight, they have a higher straight or a flush. If you do win, dealer doesn’t have a pair so you don’t get your bet back. Just too many coincidences. |
