    App Description

URL to Photo takes full-page snapshots of web pages.
Use the built in mini web browser to enter the URL of the web page for which you want to take a full page snapshot. The browser supports navigation and search.
The photo of the web page includes even those parts of the page that may not be displayed in the browser because it is too wide or long.
To snapshot the page tap the camera button or select ‘Snapshot’ from the main menu.
After the picture is taken you have the option to save, share, tile and preview it.
Web pages that are very long will have snapshot images that are very long also. In this case you can tile the photo from the main menu 'Photo Actions' submenu.
Choose 'Tile Photo' and the snapshot image will be cropped into image segments that will then be arranged in a rectangular array.
Note: This app works best on web pages that fully load. Web pages that are dynamic or continue to update while being viewed may not yield the expected image.

  • Version2.0.3
    11/14/2021
    Size:7.19M
    Update Log

    - NEW: Share URLs from web browser. After you share then open 'URL to Photo' for the shared URL to load. Tap the camera button as usual to image the URL's page to a photo.
    Previous updates:
    Version 2.0.1
    - Added navigation controls (back, forward and reload) to the bottom of the browser so there is no need to use the main menu.
    - Added 'Snapshot' menu item to the main menu.
    - The app no longer presents an alert when the webpage updates itself during imaging - which especially occurs on dynamic web pages which may continue to update content.
    Version 2.0
    - IMPROVED: Higher resolution snapshots.
    - NEW: Main menu with 'Photo Actions…' submenu that includes save, share, tile and preview.
    - NEW: A 'tile' feature that will segment a snapshot into a rectangular array of cropped sections of the whole page page in order to display it condensed - useful for long web pages.
    - NEW: Snapshots can be previewed from within the app.
    - NEW: Browser actions to reload, go back, go forward and stop loading have been combined into a submenu 'Browser…' of the actions menu.
