It is a good app to learn different languages and you can learn multiple languages at a time I love it and you have streaks they’re very fun

i was born in a spanish speaking family, but they always speaked english around me so i never really got to learn spanish. but with duolingo i can learn spanish quick and easy. (P.S. , duolingo please let go of my friends)

Not all app should have ads, especially on a learning platform.

I love that this app can teach you how to speak different language however I noticed that one of my favorite languages to teach and use wasn’t on this app. That language is sign language (I only know ASL but there are other types) I understand that it would be difficult for you to teach sign languages because you would have to do video and camera stuff, all I am asking is that you could consider this request.

Maybe because I chose to skip the first section as I feel like I have a lot of the basics but when I first started to translate sentences they were correct but the app said they were wrong. When I asked my native Spanish speaking friends they explained it was wanting the formal translation but my translation wasn’t wrong.

This app has help me learn Spanish but you can learn so many other languages to (for example my friend is learning Dutch). There is adds but they are short and skippable. Duolingo makes learning different languages feel like a game! Fully recommend!

I would like to start off by saying that I am very impressed with how well I’ve been able to pick up a language again just by using this app. It does a very good job of targeting your weaknesses and having you practice those over and over until you improve.
That being said, the amount of ads in the free version is insane. I routinely have to watch an unskippable 30 second ad plus an ad for the paid version, just to get my gems at the end of every lesson.
This would be a five star app if the ads weren’t so frustrating. I understand an ad every once in a while, maybe even just using banner ads. But when it interrupts my learning, it takes down the quality of the app.

Sometimes some of the gamified features fail to work. Annoying

The app is so engaging and makes learning fun with little tricks to keep you coming back for more whether you’re paying for the app or not

You should refill lives after 20 minutes. People who don’t have the money to pay for a subscription still want to learn.
