The app has a AWEFUL playback issue, which has made me have to restart the app several times just to watch an episode.

I’ve had Amazon prime for a few months now and I started noticing a lot of charges and never on my renewal date but they all say Amazon prime then after having to cut off my card due to over 50$ taken without explanation and Amazon saying it wasn’t them (even tho my card showed otherwise) all the charges match subscriptions but I didn’t owe for them yet still got charged 2-3times each month I added a new payment method and instantly 10.94 hit for Amazon prime and then it tried to hit me IMMEDIATELY with 16.94 for the exact same thing even tho nothing is due till next month it’s ridiculous and they just claim it’s not them that it won’t say their name but some kind of number wich is a lie and getting your money back won’t happen it’s not worth the amount of money they are dwindling from me. Watch ur accounts pay attention I can’t be the only one

Paying for prime but getting ads.

I barely use it anymore. It’s so difficult to find “Free with Prime” . Seems it just wants me to rent, buy or free trial. Yes, you’ve
ruined your entertainment app. And your company really doesn’t make enough money? Owner needs another interestingly shaped rocket so you charge $2.99 for no adds? Or is it that laws have to be made to slow down production?

❌Can’t put device down horizontally until selection is made. Because
❌No freedom of choice/adaptability in settings, some of which used to exist but have been removed
❌No filter or blocks for offensive stuff: don’t want 50 Shades & Jason ads in front of 3-year-olds! And don’t want to resort to the Barney-only version either
❌Incorrect, lazily “organized” genres/recommendations: Mystery is not the same as horror. Suspense does not mean horror. Adventure isn’t action/war. Romance does not mean erotic
❌Constant refreshes! (bypassing device settings) LOTS of losing what you were juuust about to click on, because it jumps around THAT much!
❌Pushy (own) ads: when, where, & what…. They can do better… What about a “What’s New/Playing” page?
❌”FREE to you” Isn’t! It’s in our subscription that we PAY for
❌Requiring AppleID & password, fingerprint & face id for in-app purchase??? Amazon doesn’t need our physical description & device passwords, methods of payment are on their site directly!!!

I’ve been a prime member for at least 8 years now. I don’t always use the streaming service but I use it for the shopping and the photo backup. There are some shows I’ll watch on prime video and I’ve been very disappointed in the recent change they have made by adding ads. I’m already paying for the service why do I have to pay more to go add free when they use to not have adds. Amazon should give the streaming service away for free or a discount on your prime membership if they are going to be double dipping on peoples money with the adds. Corporate greed is out of control and this is just one more example of a company making record profits and still saying it’s not enough!
